Java Heat 2013 Movie Storyline/Plot
Java Heat is an American action film.
Directed by Conor Allyn, the film stars Kellan Lutz, Mickey Rourke, Ario
Bayu and Atiqah Hasiholan. A suicide bombing has occurred at a party in
Java, Indonesia, and a Javanese Sultan’s daughter, Sultana (Atiqah
Hasiholan), is suspected to be one of the unidentified victims. Jake
Travers (Kellan Lutz), a reckless American posing as a graduate student,
is found at the scene of the blast and is held as a key witness by a
police detective of Detachment 88, lieutenant Hashim (Ario Bayu). After
interviewing a Jake at the bombing site, Hasim’s car was rammed by an
SUV and shot at by a group of terrorist led by Malik (Mike Muliadro) and
his henchman Achmed. Jake saved Hashim live’s and killed two terrorists
but not Achmed. Hashim was surprised and became suspicious when he
watched Jake’s shooting skill. On Hasim’s wife insistence Jake was
invited to their house for breakfast. At the house Hashim revealed that
he checked Jake’s background. Jake admit that he is an FBI agent
operating undercover and suggested they cooperate. Returning to his
apartment Jake faxed a picture of a tattoo taken from Sultana’s body to a
friend stateside. His friend later informed him that this tattoo is
used for Chinese high-class prostitutes and confirmed Hasim’s former
suspicion that the body is not actually Sultana. Jake follows the lead
to a night club where he takes home a prostitute with the same tattoo.
When she starts cooperating, Jake’s place is suddenly attacked by
several parties: the terrorist gang and a Chinese gang that runs the
prostitution racket. Police, who were actually doing covert surveillance
on Jake, were forced to interfere and suffered some casualties. Jake
successfully escaped but was hunted down by the police and finally
captured near a railway station. The police suffered additional
casualties. Hashim arrives home to find out that his family had been
kidnapped. Malik calls him on a cell phone left at the house and asks if
he can count on Hashim for his family’s life. Hashim then goes to the
police station where he watches two US Marines officers talking to his
