Much Ado About Nothing 2013 Movie Storyline/Plot

Much Ado About Nothing is a 2012 American romantic comedy film adapted for the screen, produced, and directed by Joss Whedon, from William Shakespeare’s play of the same name. The film stars Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Nathan Fillion, Clark Gregg, Reed Diamond, Fran Kranz, Sean Maher, and Jillian Morgese. To create the film, director Whedon established the production studio Bellwether Pictures. It premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival and had its North American theatrical release on June 21, 2013. The plot of the film is largely unchanged from that of Shakespeare’s original play.[4] Differences include the modern-day setting, switching Conrade’s gender, eliminating several minor roles and consolidating others into Leonato’s aide, and expanding Ursula’s role by giving her a number of Margaret’s scenes. In addition, the film attempts to add background to the relationship between Beatrice and Benedick by showing, in an opening scene, a morning after they apparently slept together. Benedick steals away quietly while Beatrice pretends to be asleep. Principal photography started mid-October 2011,[9] and took place at Joss Whedon’s residence in Santa Monica, California.[10] On the choice of location, he told Studio 360, “First of all, my wife built that house. And I knew from the moment I set foot in it that I would want to film something there. Because it’s all in one place, that place informs the mood and the feeling and the look of the picture so much, and I was really already comfortable with that”.[11] Whedon and his wife, Kai Cole, produced the film through their studio Bellwether Pictures.[12][13] It was filmed entirely in a black-and-white palette over a period of 12 days, in conjunction with cinematographer Jay Hunter.[14] Whedon shot it while on a contractual vacation from the post-production of The Avengers.[15] The cast and crew were informed to keep the project a secret until production was finished.[5] They wrapped their last day of filming on October 23, 2011. Hello Herman 2013 Movie Storyline/Plot

Hello, Herman is an American drama written by John Buffalo Mailer. Michelle Danner directed the film version, starring Norman Reedus, Garrett Backstrom, Rob Estes and Martha Higareda, which appeared at the 16th Annual Hollywood Film Festival in October 2012. Set in the not so distant future, in the United States, sixteen-year-old Herman Howards makes a fateful decision. He enters his suburban school and kills thirty nine students, two teachers, and a police officer. Just before his arrest he emails his idol, famous journalist Lax Morales, sending him clips of the shootings captured with Herman’s own digital camera. In the clips Herman tells Lax, “I want to tell my story on your show”. Lax, haunted by his own past, is now face to face with Herman. The movie explores why and how a massacre like this can happen in our society, desensitizing in America, youth violence and bullying, the impact the media has on our individual quest for fame, and ultimately our need for connection. Hello Herman holds a 13% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 6 reviews, with a rating average of 4/10.[5] Metacritic has given the film a weighted average score of 27/100, based on 5 reviews, indicating “generally unfavorable reviews”. Sam Adams of Time Out New York said that the most fitting punishment for Hello Herman was to simply ignore its existence: “it barely tries to offer insight into its much-debated subject, content to rip the scab off an ever-fresh wound for the sake of controversy.”[7] The Los Angeles Times’s Amy Nicholson wrote about the incompetence of the director: “we’re not sure what director Michelle Danner, who plays Herman’s defensive mother in an uncredited role, wants us to get besides a reminder that angry boys act out for a host of half-defined reasons.”[8] The Village Voice’s Rob Staeger stated that “the dialogue is all surface: emotions are laid out on the autopsy table for the audience to dissect and analyze, but rarely feel.”[9] The New York Times’s Jeannette Catsoulis finds that “pointing at everything and elucidating nothing, Hello Herman arrives freighted with the anti-bullying agenda of its director, Michelle Danner.” While some critics have struggled to find answers in Hello Herman, many critics have praised the film, recognizing that the movie does not seek to offer an explanation but rather to encourage the discussion of a topic that has gone overlooked for far too long. Sam Kashner of Vanity Fair said that “HELLO HERMAN is a powerful and important work, a darkly brilliant tone poem about America’s tango with violence and fame. Herman will get under your skin. Epic (stylized as epic) is a 2013 American 3D computer animated fantasy action-adventure film[6] loosely based on William Joyce’s children’s book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs.[7] It was produced by Blue Sky Studios, and directed by Chris Wedge, the director of Ice Age (2002) and Robots (2005). The film stars the voices of Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson, Colin Farrell, Christoph Waltz, Aziz Ansari, Chris O’Dowd, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, and Beyoncé Knowles. The film was released on May 24, 2013 to mixed critical reception, and earned $268 million on a $93 million budget. 17 year old Mary Katherine, or M.K. (Amanda Seyfried), moves in with her eccentric scientist father Professor Bomba (Jason Sudeikis) who has been searching for tiny humanoid soldiers called Leafmen. They protect the forest Bomba lives near from evil creatures called Boggans and their malevolent leader Mandrake (Christoph Waltz). An independent young soldier named Nod (Josh Hutcherson) decides to quit much to the ire of the no-nonsense Leafmen leader Ronin (Colin Farrell). The queen of the forest, Queen Tara (Beyoncé Knowles), must choose an heir to her throne and goes out to a field of leaf pods, guarded by a laid-back slug named Mub (Aziz Ansari) and a wannabe Leafman snail named Grub (Chris O’Dowd). Immediately after she chooses a pod, the Boggans attack. Tara flees the area with the pod, and though her bodyguards do their best to protect her, they are soon overwhelmed by the sheer number of Boggans. Eventually, Ronin arrives for her and the pair fly off on his hummingbird mount. They are then attacked by Mandrake and his son Dagda (Blake Anderson). Dagda is killed by Ronin, but Tara is shot with an arrow by Mandrake. Meanwhile, M.K. decides to leave after having an argument with Bomba about his research. Before she can leave, Bomba’s dog Ozzy runs into the woods. While looking for Ozzy, M.K. sees Tara falling. Dying, Tara gives her the pod and uses her magic to shrink her. She tells M.K. to take the pod to a Glowworm named Nim Galuu before she dies, and M.K. joins Ronin and the Leafmen, along with Mub and Grub. Ronin discovers that Nod has entered a race against other creatures and bugs on birds. He goes back on a deal with a tough bullfrog named Bufo (Pitbull) to lose the race. Before Bufo and his two henchmen can feed Nod to a snake for not throwing the race, Ronin intervenes and orders them to leave. Before Midnight is a 2013 American romantic drama film, the third in a trilogy featuring two characters: Before Sunrise (1995) and Before Sunset (2004). It was directed by Richard Linklater and stars Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy. Co-written by Linklater, Hawke and Delpy, the film picks up the story nine years after the events of Before Sunset; Jesse (Hawke) and Céline (Delpy) spend a summer vacation together in Greece. Following a limited opening in May, the film was released wide in June 2013 and grossed over $20 million worldwide. As with the previous films, Before Midnight received widespread acclaim and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Some elements were drawn from the screenplay for the first film. Nine years have passed since Before Sunset. Jesse and Céline have become a couple and parents to twin girls, conceived when they were together in Paris during a brief visit. Jesse struggles to maintain his relationship with his teenage son, Hank, who lives in Chicago with Jesse’s ex-wife. After spending the summer with Jesse and Céline on the Greek Peloponnese peninsula, Hank is being dropped off at the airport to fly home. Jesse has continued to find success as a novelist, while Céline is at a career crossroads, considering a job with the French government. The couple discuss their concerns about Hank, and then about Céline’s choices for her career. Over dinner they talk more about love and life. Friends staying with them pay for a hotel room so they can have a night alone. While walking to the hotel, the couple reminisce about coming together. After reaching the hotel, they have a fierce argument, expressing fears about their present and future together. Céline leaves their room and sits alone in the hotel’s outdoor restaurant. Jesse joins her and suggests how things might change from that night. She says their fantasies will never match the imperfect reality. The Hangover Part III is a 2013 American comedy film produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the sequel to 2011’s The Hangover Part II, and the third and final film in The Hangover trilogy. The film stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha, and Ken Jeong. The supporting cast includes: Jeffrey Tambor, Heather Graham, Jamie Chung, Mike Epps and John Goodman with Todd Phillips directing a screenplay written by himself and Craig Mazin. The film follows the “Wolfpack” (Phil, Stu, Doug, and Alan) as they try to get Alan the help he needs after facing a personal crisis. However, things go awry when an incident from the original film comes back to haunt them. The Hangover Part III was announced days before the release of The Hangover Part II and Mazin who co-wrote Part II was brought on board. In January 2012, the principal actors re-signed to star. In March 2012, Warner Bros. announced a U.S. Memorial Weekend release. The supporting roles were cast between June and September 2012. Principal photography began in September 2012 in Los Angeles, California before moving to Nogales, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. The film was released on May 23, 2013. Despite negative reviews, The Hangover Part III had the second biggest worldwide box office opening for an R-rated comedy following The Hangover Part II in 2011. Two years after the events in Bangkok, Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong) escapes from a maximum security prison, using a riot as cover. Meanwhile in America, Alan Garner (Zach Galifianakis) causes a 20-car freeway pileup after he purchases a giraffe and accidentally decapitates it on a low overpass. Alan’s father Sid (Jeffrey Tambor), furious with Alan for his immature antics and never owning up to his mistakes, dies of a heart attack in the middle of a lecture. After the funeral, Alan’s brother-in-law Doug Billings (Justin Bartha) informs friends Phil Wenneck (Bradley Cooper) and Stu Price (Ed Helms) that Alan has been off his ADHD medication and is out of control. They attend an intervention, in which Alan agrees to visit a rehab facility in Arizona, so long as “the Wolfpack” takes him there. On the way to Arizona, Phil’s minivan is rammed off the road by a rental truck and the group is taken hostage. They are later confronted by a crime lord named Marshall (John Goodman) and “Black Doug” (Mike Epps), his head of security. He tells them that years ago Chow hijacked half of a $42 million gold heist and, seeing how Alan has been the only one to communicate with Chow during his imprisonment, deduced that the Wolfpack could locate him and retrieve the gold. Marshall kidnaps Doug as collateral and gives the others three days to find Chow, or else Doug will be killed. Alan sets up a meeting with Chow in Tijuana, Mexico, where Stu and Phil will hide and attempt to drug him. However, Alan accidentally gives away their location and Chow forces them to confess they are working for Marshall. Chow explains his plan to retrieve the stolen gold from the basement of a Mexican villa he previously owned. Stu, Alan and Phil break into the house and successfully retrieve the gold, but Chow double-crosses them by locking them in the basement, rearming the security system and escaping in Phil’s minivan.
